This is how you can repot your orchids step-by-step. Make sure you have your repotting supplies and preparations take care of before you get started repotting your orchid.
Step One– Remove the orchid plant from the current pot. Do this by turning the pot upside down and holding the orchid between your fingers.
Step Two– Tap the rim of the pot quickly until the orchid loosens up and starts to come out.
Step Three– Remove the old compost/ orchid growing medium and cut the dead roots away.
Step Four– Trim back any of the extra long roots that look like they may be damaged or dead. .
Step Five– Position the orchid where the base of the orchid growth is about an inch below rim of the pot.
Step Six– Then carefully fill in the gaps in space with new compost/ orchid medium.
